yesterday we randomly decided to try this place we always drive by and never gave a try to. Was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly server and atmosphere, since I was told before that this is a peanut-dropper-biker bar (not at all! its a family restaurant - sports bar). Ordered 2 steaks and 2 poutines, the food was very good despite the place being quiet on Monday night. TO make it all even better its only 5 minutes away from my house. Would definitely go back. The prices are great and the staff is friendly. When I lived in Toronto I would drive here on Sundays just to east their specialty pancakes! Amazing! Pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb are my favorites! I had reservations about going to another Wimpy's, after having such a disastrous experience at the one in my town. The boyfriend however had eaten here many times, and told me that he'd really enjoyed it, and we needed a place we could take his year old son and all of us be comfortable.
